TOTTON YOGA CLASSES
YAY! So you want to try YOGA?
You have everything you need. You don’t need to be bendy, or fit, or strong.
I promise my classes are all about finding your own version of being any one of those things.
We focus on building mobility, strength AND flexibility. None of those things are more important than the other.
Community is something I am passionate about, so my classes are friendly, fun, welcoming!
Yoga is a delightful blend of movement with a focus on breath. Yoga helps to maintain, gain and increase strength, flexibility and mobility that helps to provide ease of movement in the body, as well as decreased stress with an increased sense of wellbeing.
A gentle form of movement that you can do any time, any place at any age!

Movement & Meditation
Urgh, sit in stillness they said. Sit cross-legged, breathe in, breathe out.
Meditation doesn’t have to be hard! I focus on simple meditations and mudra’s (handpositions) to focus the mind and relax the body.
It’s just a pause, and you don’t have to “be good at it”
Just keep coming back to your breath, and this is the simplicity of our practice. I don’t love to overcomplicate things, so we build your wellness toolbox in easy-to-remember and to apply practices. Little things you can apply in every day life.

Frequently Asked Questions
Yes. I have a few spare to use for your first few times. Chat to me in class about my mats I recommend. I don’t recommend a pilates mat.
I use blocks and straps in my classes, but you don’t need this until you know this is the right class for you. I have some for loan.
Traffic happens! If you know you are going to be there, please whatsapp me. If you are going to miss your class please also let me know so we don’t wait for you. We start promptly, however if I know you are on your way, I’ll let you sneak in, no later than 5min after the start time. This disturbs our class. Regular lateness is not welcomed.
We are in close proximity to our fellow yogis, so please ensure proper hygiene.
Please do not smoke before class.
Please do not use perfume in my classes. I have a student that is highly allergic to PARFUME which is in most perfumes. A light deodorant is fine.
Classes are non refundable at all times.
Class transfers possible with 24hours hours notice.
Classes sometimes get waitlisted – if I can fill your spot I’m happy to transfer your class to another class.
